Refund and Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: February 1, 2026

Graham Smith Wellness and Therapy is committed to providing respectful, professional counselling services while maintaining clear and fair policies regarding cancellations and refunds.

 

Appointment Cancellations

Clients are required to provide at least two (2) full business days’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • Cancellations made with two full business days’ notice are eligible for a full refund or may be applied as a credit toward a future session.

  • Business days are defined as Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays.

 

Late Cancellations and Missed Appointments

  • Appointments cancelled with less than two full business days’ notice, or

  • Missed appointments (no-shows) will be subject to a 50% charge of the session fee.

 

This policy reflects the time reserved specifically for you and the inability to offer that appointment to another client on short notice.

 

Exceptions

Exceptions may be considered in cases of:

  • Medical emergencies

  • Serious unforeseen circumstances

 

These will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of Graham Smith Wellness and Therapy.

 

Refund Method

Approved refunds will be issued using the original method of payment unless otherwise agreed upon. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.
